SENIOR OUTDOOR PRACTICES 2025

Practice Days:

Fridays 7:30-8:30pm @ Keele Street Public School Turf
Sundays 11am-1pm @ Bishop Strachan School Turf

Locations:

Keele Street Public School – 99 Mountview Av., Toronto, ON M6P 2L5
Bishop Strachan School – 298 Lonsdale Rd, Toronto, ON M4V 1X2

Registration Sessions:

Spring sessions: May 2 – June 29, 2025 (16 sessions – $200)
Summer Sessions: July – Aug 2025 (TBD)

What to expect:

Outdoor practice sessions are held twice a week. Each session is 2 hours long. Practice format:

• Warm up as a group
• Fitness and conditioning
• Technical skills
• Game-like situations and small-sided games
• 1 hour scrimmage

Groups are divided for drills and games by skill level and additional coaching is given to beginners and those who are coming back after years away. Depending on ability and maturity, athletes as young as 15 can play with the adults.

Required Equipment:

• Stick
• Appropriate shoes for turf
• Field hockey shin pads
• Mouthguard
• Left hand glove (recommended)
• Water bottle
